Congratulations on providing music for some of the holiest days of the year in our church calendar. We hope you had another successful Christmas Eve/Christmas Day celebration, as well as the Feast of the Holy Family. If you’re anything like me, you haven’t quite fully recovered yet: the onslaught of family events, social events and weekend Masses may still have you in a fog. (At least, they do to me!)
That’s why today we’re hearkening back to the “Best of…” episode for 2019. We polled and looked at what was the most popular episode of the year. It was a close one, but the “Best Of…” episode is…..Episode 25: “The Singing Priest”, featuring Ricky Manalo!
I’m keeping it short today, and sending it over to Matt’s original episode. Now before I go, make sure you tune in next week for our first episode of 2020. Our theme in January will be “Focus on Education”. I’m thrilled at the people I get to interview for January’s episode, so please tune in.
Before I go, let me say that, on behalf of myself and the rest of the NPM National Staff, we’re grateful for your listening, your participation, and your membership to the National Association of Pastoral Musicians.
The recordings of “In the Bleak Midwinter/Still, Still, Still” and “Auld Lang Syne” were produced and arranged by Josie Merlino.
Today’s episode was produced by me, Amanda Bruce, as well as former co-host Matt Reichert.
The original episode & show notes can be found here.
