#101: Our Call From Baptism (Convention Sneak Peek) (with Sr. Sandra DeMasi, SSJ)

As many of you might know (and many of you might not), things in the NPM office have been moving in a different direction than we would have anticipated a year ago. 2 weeks ago we were proud to announce that we’ve converted this year’s annual convention to a virtual convention! While we all would prefer to meet in-person, we are the most concerned about the health and safety of all involved. For this reason, we will gather this year in a virtual setting.

As we prepare for our Virtual Convention, we wanted to provide even more value and resource to our podcast listeners. For this reason, we are offering you the first listen of an excerpt of a Mega Breakout scheduled for this year’s convention. Today we hear from Sister Sandra DeMasi, a Sister of Saint Joseph serving as a pastoral associate for liturgy at Saint Rose of Lima Parish in Short Hills, New Jersey. Today Sister Sandy shares a 10-minute excerpt of her Mega Breakout, titled, “Christians are Made, Not Born!” After that excerpt, I ask Sister Sandy about the pastoral considerations we all need to be taking into account in the midst of what will become our new “normal”, as a Church. I’ll indicate this change away from the Mega Breakout conversation with a moment of music in between the recording.
